8959 | Comment char limit | ! @ # $ % ^ * ( ) < > / ; ' " ` ~ = ; : are all acceptable. Only & and + causes the problem. Conclusion: Comment gizmo worships the word "and" and refuses typographic symbol substitutes.
| shakin steak | Jun 16, 2014 | |
8958 | Comment char limit | Well, I tried some different things and discovered the cause of my issue: the article comment gizmo dislikes ampersands. There was a & right at the point where the truncation occurred. I thought to rearrange sentences & see if it would happen at the same number of characters, & pinpointed it. & after I figured that out, & replaced "&" with "and", it worked correctly.

So now you can read my response to your comment on my "new" article | shakin steak | Jun 16, 2014 | |
8957 | Comment char limit | Well, I'm not sure what to think.

First I simply typed in a series of letters, like so:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
ccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc
ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
eeeee......

and they got cut off before even reaching "b".

But when I copied and pasted my longer comment on your most recent article 6 times over, it posted all of it. So I'm not sure what to think.
| Vaporman87 | Jun 16, 2014 | |

8955 | Comment char limit | Hmmm. I'm not sure to be honest. But if a comment is getting cut off, then I suppose it's possible. I'll do some testing.
| Vaporman87 | Jun 16, 2014 |
