No time of the year for me inspires more feelings of nostalgia than Fair Week, and that includes Christmastime. I think some of the reason for that is the fact that Fair Week was a bit of a ritual for us in school, in that it took place a week or two prior to our return to school for the new year. It served as a "last hurrah" for us, and we loved it. It was usually the first time since the end of the school year that we would see some of our classmates ( or crushes ). It was magical. <br><br>Now, I can set up a booth there for our company every year and have a reason to be there... wandering around, thinking about all the memories wrapped up in that hallowed ground. Occasionally I see people from high school or my youth that I haven't seen since, well, probably last year's Fair. It is probably the thing I look forward to most every year as far as events or occasions - just for myself. Many things are more important with regard to family occasions, but just for me... it's the pinnacle of the year.<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">@TDitH:</span> I'm really hoping to be able to catch that RiffTrax Godzilla special, but that is one of the days of the Fair (as mentioned above, :lol: ) so who knows.<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">@Ben:</span> I HATE weedeating.
