Regardless, we try to keep as much of that out of the sight and minds of the kids. They're not prepared to know such things exist and are actually "enjoyed" by people. For him, he can't yet conceive that anyone would want to see such things (never did I mention I myself loved playing Mortal Kombat). I've seen footage of the newer games, and much like today's horror films, things have gotten more graphic and real looking. I myself can't handle the new stuff. Cheaply made effects from the 80's I can handle. But the new stuff can make me physically sick... not a good feeling. And one I imagine he felt last night.
Vaporman87Jul 14, 2015View

22013Retro-Daze let's get healthy!
vkimo wrote :
Have you tried walking/running barefoot? I read an excellent book called Born to Run which explains how man was designed to run barefoot and all the great benefits from doing so.
-end quote
A little. Mainly in the house and yard. Hard to go barefoot out in my urban surroundings. I can get to a track easily. I'd just have to convince myself that running or walking in a circle for its own sake isn't totally boring. Books on tape?
shakin steakJul 14, 2015View
