1011ArticleMissMI thought I had commented to these already! But I did not. I love the smell of Stinkor, but not as much as I love the smell of books both old and new. I need to bottle that up and sell it in the fragrance department. I think dummies would make for a scary too. I think really detailed baby dolls are also scary. I just have never understood that. And thecrow174, Lotso really freaked me out in that movie! The Fear of ToysFeb 18, 2014View
1010ArticleMissMWell Vaporman, with one of the main characters killed off half way through, the other half really focused on the other "main" character and trying to solve the mystery of who was killing everyone. It was certainly a different kind of departure from what I had been reading at the time. And Erik, this was really the only Valentine's Day book I recall reading when I was younger. And I'm not exactly sure this would really count, aside from it taking place around Valentine's Day. lol And I know what you mean about stories where the main couple doesn't end up getting together. I relate to that and in some ways I enjoy that being an ending because there is the happiness that the two people love each other, but then there is the gut wrenching sadness that they won't be together. It makes for epic story telling. Sometimes. Other times a girl can only dream that a happily ever after is in the cards. For the Love of V-Day! Part 3Feb 18, 2014View
1009ArticleMissMWow, you have a very nice collection. I always have regretted never really collecting anything from Sailor Moon back then. I did like the series and everything that was really popular at that time. I also loved No Doubt too! (I still do) A nice article! Some of my First Sailor Moon Merchandise (bootlegs)Feb 18, 2014View
1008ArticleMissMThis was such a fun article about school dances. I never went to mine, but if I had, I feel like I would have shared in a similar experience with you. I enjoyed this, I hope you share more memories like this for us to read. Dancing and BasketballFeb 18, 2014View
1007ArticleMissMVery cool. I never really saw these, but I do remember owning a great deal of books and magazines about animals. That Deep Sea Dive episode would have been my favorite too. I've always liked that kind of stuff.Long Lost 90s: Really Wild AnimalsFeb 18, 2014View
1006ArticleMissMThis was a nice article. I liked the sounds of rain playing as I read. Thanks for sharing these memories! Rainy days were always fun and special. Occasionally if the time permitted, my mom would bake chocolate chip cookies when it was raining out. Always fun for a rainy day. Remembering Rainy DaysFeb 18, 2014View
1005ArticleMissMI loved Buy Me That Too! I had tried for the life of me to remember what that show was called a few weeks ago. I thought it was just mind blowing. Nice choice of ads too! Really fun. Rad Retro Ads Feb 18, 2014View
1004ArticleIllustratorErikI really don't remember exchanging Valentine's card other than in Elementary School in decorated shoeboxes, and even then it was one card for everyone. I'm curious if thats changed much or at all since then. For the Love of V-Day! Part 4Feb 17, 2014View
1003ArticleIllustratorErikI can't think of any Valentine's Day books I've read before, but I have a warm fuzzy side of myself that enjoys classic romantic movies like Casablanca, Roman Holiday or Patch of Blue. Then again, none of these movies have the main couple actually get together in the end, so many thats why I relate to them so much. For the Love of V-Day! Part 3Feb 17, 2014View
1002ArticleIllustratorErikI remember I found a set of Animated Series X-Men Valentines at a Goodwill store once. Whats weird is that the cards only had picture of the characters posing, no message or hearts or anything, just a basic "To: and From:" on the back. I'm almost certain that the art was recycled from some trading card game. However, that made it easier to paste all the cards onto a board to make a sort of makeshift poster for my room.
