I was actually doing this a few years ago.  I was buying up boxes on EBAY and turning around and reselling them locally on craigslist and was able to always dump all the doubles.  I quickly completed about 90% of the commons and now have about 80-85% of all the US released NES games from doing this..  Im happy with what i got, but i keep my want list on my phone, just in case..

it

boggles my mind. They clearly take out all the good games and I can't

believe how many copies there are of Silent Service, Platoon, and other

games I never heard of but get universally terrible reviews. Not to

mention game show games, movie adaptations, and sports games but at

least I understand why those exist.

Yeah, I did the same thing for the Points Store, but had to buy the “good” games individually because they would NEVER be packed in to a lot

I got some good games from the store. None of the big titles (Mario, Zelda, Megaman) but I like them.
If you remember, did you buy any of these separate?

Elevator Action
Excitebike
Gumshoe
Gyromite
Iron Tank
Millipede
Rush 'n' Attack
Tetris
Tennis

Some of those are very common so I'm sure you got them in lots.

I'm thinking that Gyromite and Rush 'N' Attack were pretty common in some of the lots I saw. I probably have them, but would have to check.
