It's suddenly got very muddy and wet out once more. Today is supposed to get colder again. The past couple days were actually not too bad.

OK, so we had a lot of thawing and melting over the weekend. I decided to ride my bike to work for the first time in over a week. Well, there is this bridge that I pass under and the pavement was icy and I fell down. A car stopped behind me. As I limped to standing the driver came up and rolled down the window. She asked if I was OK. I think I just said the road is icy. Then she said I scared her. I didn't say anything. I was still trying to figure out my condition, but later I was like    You were scared? YOU were scared? How do you think I felt?

Yikes. That's one of those "life flashing before your eyes" moments! Glad you're okay.

It's giving us a good dusting of snow here today. Unfortunately it won't amount to much accumulation, as usual.

They're predicting that we're going to get 1-2 inches of snow Monday morning. I live in NW Georgia, so naturally everyone is panicking.

It didn't used to be that way here, but now it is. It seemed like it took ridiculous amounts of snow for us to miss school when I was a kid. Now a flake falls on somebody's nose and they're screaming to shut your kids indoors.

Temps will be in the single digits this weekend.
