and hopefully said fireworks won't be the sign of the moon falling.

We're having a "Deep Freeze", which is a relief because it's been a pretty dull winter.

This morning I woke up to our first snow. Probably a few inches on the ground. Enough to make for sledding possibilities. I can only imagine the kids' faces when they see it.

I envy you.

Any winter updates to speak of?

All our snow melted yesterday. It was over a week old.

Sloppy and wet here at the moment. It's appropriate considering how sloppy and sick we feel right now.

Correction: MOST of the snow melted. Quite a bit remains. Also sloppy and wet, and dirty too.

There are days when it gets cold, and then there are days when it doesn't feel like winter. This is one of those days.

It was dangerous out on Sunday with the black ice but been a pretty mellow winter so far.
