Today I finished up a Nursing Aide class I've been taking. After three weeks of doing clinicals in the worst nursing home Raleigh, NC has to offer it's finally over. Now I gotta complete the state exam in a couple weeks.

Well, as per the norm, I left work early to go with the wife and kids to their gymnastics classes. My oldest son and I hit up K-Mart and Wal-Mart since his class doesn't start until about an hour and a half later.

K-Mart had already "Christmased" up everything, and had just a small section for Halloween. Lame. I love Christmas, but c'mon.

Hmm,  I went to McDonald's this morning and had a baby daughter. I'd say it was a good day!

After work and my wife's praise team practice, we headed to the city to eat at Cheddars, and at Toys R Us we picked up our Disney Infinity (Marvel) pre-order and an Xbox One. Getting ready to head home now and get it set up.

Went to a car show that displays cars that have art on them a few friends are in. Last night went to a meetup that was a get together of other people in the area around my age. Funny thing was that we went to the original spot and there was a power outage that took out have of downtown so we went back and found out they were at another spot and went there. After that my friend and I went to a diner.

I've been watching 1942's Casablanca this morning.

I got that stinking Xbox One hooked up... after about 2 hours. Good grief... whatever happened to the days when you just ran a couple RCA cables to your tv, turned the system on, and played a game.

Now you have to hook a power plant sized power cord, a Kinect, set up all your preferences, download a half hour update, start the game, download another half hour update for the game, THEN you can play.

I hate new game systems.
