I turn 28 next month. If I didn't need to know my age I would have forgotten it long ago.

28's a good age to be.

I think it was just the idea that I wasn't in my twenties anymore. In my mind, any age from one to twenty-nine was considered "youth" to me. When I turned 30, I felt like I had exited my youth, and entered adulthood. It was tough for me.

My friend is going through that same crisis and she's 27. I'm not saying anything since I'm probably the youngest on the site at age 23

I hope I don't cry when I reach 30. It's still a young age to be. 35 is when you become middle aged, from what my dad told me.

Speaking of age...

Yesterday something came to light that I can share with all of you (since you won't be spreading the word to our familes, ). Not long after I turn 41, I will be a father for the fourth (and LAST) time. I, once again, turn to the wise Jim Gaffigan for contemplation of this...

I turned 30 in January. At first I was freaking out because I thought I had to dress like a "put together adult" and wear cardigans and stuff.

I also thought I had to give up all my favorite things like dolls and listening to 90s music. I thought I was supposed to have a sophisticated taste in things.

That wasn't the case, was it?

No not really because I gave up and went back to what I was doing before. I took a look at my parents, and they were doing the same stuff they used to. My dad listens to the same music he did in high school. I those ideas about being "grown up looking" are fed more to women.

And don't forget when you turn 30 your Saturn Returns, I don't think I had anything particularly interesting happen during that time.

I did the samething when I turned into a teenager that I was too "grown up" For things I liked. Makes me wonder what would happen if I told my younger self where he'd be now and what I like now XD
