I just came home after cashing a check.

Uhg. Last night my youngest child (son), who has been suffering from a cold, started wheezing. When he does that, it's a sign that his breathing is going to begin getting labored, and he freaks out.

We gave him a breathing treatment, then headed to the ER, just to be safe. He slept through the whole visit. We didn't get back until after 2:00 AM. Needless to say, I'm beat.

I hope he's alright.

Thanks crow. He's doing much better now. Same fiery little booger.

Is he asthmatic?

Well Vapor said he was sick so maybe a one time thing. But who knows.

Not asthmatic... yet. The doctors have mentioned before, that it's possible he may develop asthma in time. I pray he doesn't.

It's hard living with it though it depends on what can trigger it. I have exercise induced asthma (Thanks to years of second hand smoke) Hopefully he doesn't get asthma.

I said a prayer for him and others who have asthma.

For a while, I would very rarely have an episode of hyperventilation. I carried an inhaler around, in case it happened. But the times that it would happen were so infrequent, I just stopped bothering to carry the inhaler.
