Barely 10am here in vkimo country and the bugs are out in force. Went to a garage sale and absolutely scored on a NES in the original box for 30$. The console is used and yellowing but the box and inserts look great!

Nintendo is known to be child proof so it should be fine. My N64 still runs like a beauty.

My wife's NES still runs, but sometimes you have to work it a bit (jiggling the cartridge around) before it finally takes. Sturdy hardware, that.

I miss my NES. I had some good, carefree times on that thing. My father would take me to the video store every week, which always had a heavenly aroma of popcorn in the air, let me rent a game and I would just let the fun times roll.

I had my mom's NES growing up. Still wish I had it honestly.

I have another NES already so I might just sell this one. The box is actually worth more than the console is. My biggest gripe is the Zapper gun doesn't work with LCD TVs!

I tried replacing the 72 Pin connector in my old NES once, it worked great at first but then took a dump. Cleaning the games with Windex was more helpful.

Don't you know you only need to blow on it and instantly everything will be alright? I thought this was common knowledge? :>
