My brother came over this past weekend. I don't get to see him that much anymore since he lives miles away, but I'm glad I could this time around.

Cool. What kind of festival is it?

Just a street festival. They close down a couple blocks and have two music stages, and a bunch of local businesses selling food and other wares (lots of craft-type things and art). I sell beer. Long days and much drinking to be done after closing time. First one of the season. Last year I did seven. We'll see how many I get this year. There's three music fests and two of those are definite. The street fests were kind of random.

sorry i haven't updated in such a long time guys, you know how things have been for me these days as my job has still been keeping me on my feet. with some time off i got i decided to purchase this little game as a breath of fresh air.



i'm slowly still working on my art retrospective article, and i'll hopefully HOPEFULLY have it up before august. i say august because i really want to put more length into it than any previous articles i've ever written, here and on RJ. i'd go for a two or three parter, but i think i just want to put a draft to good use for one big feature. stay tuned, guys.

I saw that in Walmart today, and just about picked it up. I didn't though, as I had read that the offline multiplayer was 1 vs.1 and that's it. Instead I picked up Nintendoland. Much better choice for a family of 5 (+1 not yet able to "game") to play together.

Splatoon looks like a lot of fun. I'd like to play it.

there's more to the one player though, there's also a story mode campaign with over 30 levels, and if you purchase one of the amiibos it unlocks 50 additional challenges. thanks, i hope i can make the best out of the article with its long wait.

the online really gets addictive, i saw myself playing the game for about four and a half hours on the first day.

I forgot to mention that I came home the other day to fire trucks sitting in my driveway. Scared me to death. Turns out my wife burnt grilled cheese sandwiches. Yep. Felt real cool about that.
