We had Italian food tonight from a place called Villa Gargano for supper. So delicious

If I may interject with a derailment.

My day was ultra-typical. That is, until I checked the mail. My five game bundle arrived from the site. Amazing end to the day, in and of itself. But, the greatest bonus, the realization that one of my games, Batman, was a former Video Update rental.

I worked at Video Update from my senior year in high school up until they were bought out by Movie Gallery, and there I remained up until they were closing stores and well on their way out of business.

It was a great surprise. So many great memories hanging out with my friends at the Video Update. They would all just hang out with me while I worked. We would eat candy and watch movies on the banks of monitors until the store closed. Then we would hang out in the parking lot, talking and joking around all night.

That is awesome fuschnikt! What a surprise. I'm glad that you can not only enjoy the games, but also the memories that came with them.

We had a Movie Gallery here locally until they starting disappearing. I had a friend who worked there, and he would get our late fees removed.

fuschnikt That is awesome! I got a rental copy recently, but the only indication was one of those thin silver stickers that gets ruined if you remove it. It was over one of the screws. After some problems I had I don't put any game in my system without taking it apart and cleaning it.
So the sticker was destroyed.

vkimo I hope you can recover a copy of that article because I would love to read it too. Although if the writing was done entirely on RJ that doesn't sound easy.

I miss going to Movie Gallery. It was a quality place for movies and games.

I discovered that someone has charged over $220 on my debit card at a Meijer in Lancaster, Ohio... and it wasn't my wife or me. That's a first. Now we have to fill out a dispute form and have the debit cards blocked. Fun.

Sorry to hear that, my friend.

I sincerely hope that you can get rid of this, rather quickly.

Thanks Silv. I'm sure it will be resolved, just hoping it doesn't take long.

Average day. Went thrifting and picked up some mediocre N64 titles that I might have to get tested for salmonella before I play them. Also got an email from BestLeather.org inviting me to be on their team of writers which is pretty cool!
