Thanks to the generosity of the folks at www.theoldcomputer.com, we will be adding a new feature to the site in the form of a Game Box Art gallery. This will function similarly to the now defunct Cereal Box gallery, with the exception of a front menu for selecting the game system you wish to view game box art for. There will be thousands of images in this gallery, more than either the VHS Covers or the Cereal Boxes... or both combined. It should be pretty sweet. Game box images will be from "retro" systems from Commodore, Atari, Magnavox, Nintendo, Sega, Phillips, and more. Hope you all enjoy it when complete. As always, updates will be posted here when needed. Quote Disable Sigs You love this signature.

TurboGrafx-16 is one of them. Got that one covered. Also, 3DO.

Cool gallery.
I never knew a Gilligan's Island game existed. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

Admiring the collection !

Nice gallery. This could also be useful for posting pictures from some of the other threads of this site, most notably, the Virtual Console Thursdays thread.
There's a lot of good boxarts, some of which I've never seen before, such as the European cover to the NES version of Mario Bros. |

Why did the cereal boxes go away?
|
|
We'll, somehow one of the contributors of the cereal box images at CerealBits found that we were hosting his pics and didn't approve. We received permission from CerealBits, but they did not own the image copyrights.

What a bunch of phooey. You can't claim ownership of a picture of an intellectual property of a company! At least I don't think.
