Pete's wife has set up a GoFundMe page to help with the expense of procuring a van with access for the disabled. Please help if you can.

Have you tried locating your local ALS Chapter? They're set up to help people in situations much like yours. With all the money recently donated hopefully they can offer more services.

I just happened to stumble upon this thread again, and wanted to let you guys know that Pete passed away on November 22nd, 2015. 

That's truly sad news. I believe this was before my time (I think I joined in 2015-ish), so I unfortunately never got to know Pete. Still I'm sad to hear this. Thank you for updating.
