Got a stuffed cornish game hen in the oven, looking forward to it as I've never had one before. Not really a turkey fan.

My day began with the parade, and then coming to the realization that our family dog is dying. So some tears were shed by all, and tomorrow I have to take him to likely be put down. Not the best Thanksgiving day ever. Still, were at our "adopted" family's house now and the food and fellowship is a nice relief.

Sorry to hear that.

My day consisted of waking up, watching the parade for a little bit, showering, watching the odd football games we had today and then eating my food. I passed out on the couch afterwards, and am now waiting to fall back to sleep again.

What plans do you have for this year’s Turkey Day?

My family will be visiting our “adoptive family” (good friends) and enjoying the day together. They live less than a mile away, so no major travel plans for us. I’ll be watching the parade in the morning of course

I'm off from work on Thanksgiving, which is a relief. One would have to be nuts to go to a BBQ restaurant on Thanksgiving!
