Those thought clouds have improved. Thanks.

Well, even though I was not feeling 100%, we did manage to make to our friends house where we typically spend our Thanksgiving evening, and had a good time.
But once we got home, my youngest son began vomiting... AGAIN. I thought we had gotten over the stomach bug, but apparently it decided to strike him again one last time. He vomited a couple times, and battle the big D all night. Needless to say, my night involved very little sleep. You love this signature.

Does anyone do pre-purchasing of their turkey from a local farm, or do you just pick one up in the grocery store? I ask because a local meat market has a list every year that you can sign up for that reserves a certain size turkey for you from a farm here locally. I've done that before, and I'm thinking I may do it again.

That sounds amazing. I bet those farm fresh turkeys are SO good! I'm usually pretty broke, so I generally just get the free turkey from the supermarket. My supermarket does a promotion that if you spend a certain amount of money there during a 30 day period, you get a free turkey. It's the frozen low quality kind, but it's free.

I've really grown to appreciate Thanksgiving more in the last couple years. It's about family and food, no frills.

I did a recent article about Thanksgiving, though currently it's just been me. Not on good terms with my family and friends are usually busy.
