Well, it happens. This isn't a case where crossing a bridge when we come to it is the best strategy.
And I think we all know that lessons learned early are learned best. Better that a 4 year old be able to recognize and react to inappropriate behavior than be a victim--or without conscious decision a toy for anybody who "wants her"--later in life. And as they say, children are our future; maybe you don't see it where you are but we need some serious culture changes. |

I think that video was great in that it shocked people into listening. Because really, who cares women get paid less besides women? Having little girls drop the F Bomb is a good way to rile people up and hear what they're saying. Unfortunately I think most people watching the video will only walk away with the imprint of princesses cussing and nothing about the social inequalities.
Although in all the jobs I've had the pay was the same and the men ended up doing more work. Anytime we had a shipment come in it was obviously the guys job to move 500 boxes off a trailer. But in a more business setting I can see why pay should be the same. |

I suppose if you wanted to really make a statement about gender income inequality, you could start at the White House, where it still exists.

I don't like Buzzfeed (and all other sites like it... Reddit, 4Chan, etc.).
I just... don't. They feel like the "teen magazine" version of Facebook, and that's not good. Well, at least to me it isn't. You love this signature.

Buzzfeed is kinda weird. A lot of the articles on there are very poorly researched. I end up reading it going "This is so poorly written! I could write something better than that!" And I will call them out in the comments section. The quizzes are sometimes fun. I even got my dad to take one. Although it was about the NBA.
