Selfies.
Darn that Ellen DeGeneres. "Magic can happen to you."

While there are many newspapers out there that I wouldn't mind seeing go extinct (*cough* New York Times *cough*), I do hate that the death of the newspaper in general means the slow death of the classic comic strip.

Kindness and being respectful seems to have gone out the window. I still hold open doors for ladies and I still use sir, ma'am. And people look at me really funny when I do these things.

Job interviews/applications that ask ridiculous questions like "If you were a tree what kind of a tree would you be and why?"
|
|
I fail to see what that question has to do with the job itself.
Unless it's an environmental job. "Magic can happen to you."

The "Shake it Off" video makes me think even more less of her.

I like Taylor Swift.
Not for her music though... You guys seen those Kids react to and Teens react to videos? Those really bug me for some reason. Maybe it's because I tend to like vintage stuff and seeing someone only a few years younger than me shriek "What is that? Eeeeeeeeew it's so old and gross!" is disheartening. It's like, is this what the average person thinks of my interests? Are they just humoring me and my abnormal hobbies? I know they're probably hamming it up for the camera, it's what the videos seem to imply that really don't sit right with me. These kids have never seen an NES or a record player? That's cool. Why don't they ask their parents or older relatives about what life was like back then or read a book? Why don't they make an effort to learn? Being anti-intellectual is bad enough, add being obnoxious to that and it's enraging to share even the same continent with you. I'm reading too much into this. Can I change my answer to captchas? Yeah, that's what I really hate. Captchas. The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.

I have to agree jkatz. Those videos not only seem really overacted and insincere, but also show how uninterested youth seem to be in anything leading up to their lives today. It is disheartening.
