Holy cow, I'm so sorry to hear that Rick. I'm glad you're okay. Sorry to hear everyone who has contracted COVID (Vkimo, Mr. Magic). Hopefully everyone is better or getting better. 



I go back to on-campus teaching again this Monday, so fingers crossed. I was there all last semester too with N95 masks, but with the new varient, you never know. 

Holy cow Jeremy. I'm glad you're on the mend. That would be a frightening experience. So glad you didn't injure your head more severely.

Could it be true that Omicron is a sign that COVID is coming to an end?

I hope it's at least heading toward being a less virulent virus

I don't know which variant I contracted, but I have to say this was a bit of a dud given the two plus years of build up. It was barely even a cold. I started feeling ill on a Tuesday, I felt completely normal by Saturday. The only thing I really noticed was the first couple of nights not being able to fall asleep, and not really having an appetite for several days.

Good that you didn't have smell or taste loss.

Hey RAR, your symptoms match one of my administrators from work. She tested positive for covid, but returned to work one week later, remotely I might add. She said if she hadn't seen her doctor she would have thought it was the common cold.

Even after the Super Bowl game, parties, etc, there's still reports of cases going down. Especially considering most people at Sofi Stadium were maskless. 

So I ask: Is COVID really on the decline or are we living in a fantasy world?
