Sorry to hear that Vapor. At least you get to lay around the house and not do much.

That's got to be really tough with the kiddos running around! Hopefully you can rest and have a speedy recovery!

So I have the COVID. Sweet.

Just achy with a mild cough. Still... I'm stuck at home which bites.

After almost 2 years of dodging it, we finally got nabbed. My wife and daughter tested positive, I took a home test which was negative yesterday, but feel my condition declining. My daughter was sick for like 2 days and now seems almost normal. We'll see how this goes..

I avoided it for two years. Today I joined the club. In the worst way imaginable too. I started feeling ill Tuesday. Slight muscle aches, throat soreness and a fever. I didn't get any sleep Tuesday or Wednesday night. I hadn't really eaten anything over the last 24 hours. This morning I decided to shower because I felt scuzzy. I don't know whether it was from the heat of the shower, exhaustion or all of the above. But I started feeling very lightheaded.

Before I had time to react, I blacked out and went crashing outside the bathtub. I tore down the shower curtain and the rod, taking it with me. I crash into the cabinet for the sink, knocking the door off it's hinges. I end up sandwiched between the sink and the corner to one of the walls. I ended up with a nasty gash on my head, and scraps all down my back and right arm.

My aunt heard the commotion from upstairs and ran down to find me. Terrified I had a head injury, she called an ambulance to take me to the hospital. I spent the entire day in the emergency room in an isolated room due to my symptoms. I had a CT scan performed on my head and my neck. Luckily I didn't have a concussion or more serious injury. The test they performed for COVID came back positive. I feel okay right now. My condition seems to be improving. My head however hurts.

Had COVID for a few weeks and it kept me out of work. It was really a nerveracking, frustrating situation. I mean, it was bad enough having COVID, but not seeing my friends at my job. It was too much!
