A look at the sample/prototype of Maculon:
So I was doing some critical thinking yesterday, and arrived at the conclusion that I should not be so quick to get ALL of these characters turned into figures until I can figure out what kind of demand there may eventually be. So I'm going to start with just two to be ready with the novel... Fierce Phantos and Mechani-Ghoul (most central to the story). Then from there, plan out how far out to take the line of figures.
I have a tendency to jump into the deep end right off the bat with certain ideas. Need to step back and evaluate things once in a while. I think this approach is much more sensible.
Still, I'm going to have all the necessary files ready to go for all the other characters if/when the time comes for them to be produced.
In other news, as far as promotional media goes, I have been in touch with Stan Bush! If you don't know the name, he and his band wrote and performed some recognizable '80s tunes for film soundtracks. He wrote and performed "The Touch" from Transformers: The Movie, and did some songs for the film Kickboxer and Bloodsport starring Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Anyway, he's going to write and perform a faux intro song to the "Order of Cosmic Champions" fictional animated television show.
Pretty awesome!
