I think Biollante is the most underrated Godzilla opponent, such a cool design and gruesome fighter. 

I wouldn't mind seeing SpaceGodzilla again. I would speculate he's out just because he's a very goofy concept. Plus that film was the weakest of the Hesei movies.

I always wondered how the rest of the Hesei era would have played out had they not changed direction after Godzilla vs. Biollante. Not saying the rest of the films that followed in that era weren't good, but we possibly would have gotten more original Kaiju and less absurd storylines.

Absurd storylines... yes. But not nearly as absurd as the later Showa era films.

Is it true the movie is going to HBO Max the same day as theaters?

The January trailer is waay better than the one released last week:

I just purchased my ticket. My local theater is doing limited capacity so I had to reserve a spot online. Several of the Friday and Wednesday shows were already sold out, so I went with a Thursday night show. I look forward to this spectacle.

What sucks is I was searching YouTube for trailers and came across a video filmed from a theater (preview screening) that showed a huge spoiler!!! Dang it!!! These spoiler vids are all over YT right now!!!

Tonight at midnight Pacific time the film will be streaming on HBO Max!

Can't wait to get through the work day to check it out!
