Saturday nights were never the same after Red Dwarf. It was all comedy with a little sci-fi on the side.
Remember the Polymorph? It shape-shifted into a pair a shorts and Lister put them on.
It was a nice fit but not for long!

The Brady Bunch.
Michelle Tanner could've taken some lessons from Cindy Brady. Kissing and fireworks makes a pretty wild mix. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

Well guys I'm stuck back in 1981 again.
Have to admit 1981 was one hell of summer here in Seattle and it got most interesting with the introduction of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The BBC made the series available to the USA six months after airing in the UK. I'd never seen anything quite like it. The story of an electronic book - go figure. While my first impression was not good, there was enough stuff here to get me to watch the re-broadcast later in the fall of 1981. It does make an interesting contrast to the much more popular movie. |

OK fine I wasn't hibernating. I wish I was hibernating. Actually just a lot of family drama, deaths, work issues, the endless flu, but I think that's mostly in the past so hopefully I'll be back on a lot more.

Hey, KC is back! I bet you don't remember me, I've been away too.
Now, back to business. When I say Saturday nights were rockin' in Seattle with Britcoms you know I ain't lying when I bring up "Blackadder". This is the series that finally unseated "Monty Python's Flying Circus" as the goto dude show. Split into four eras, "Blackadder" spans centuries with some of the best characters in comedy. My favorite scene is the dashing Lord Flashheart, he has a way with the ladies - Loud! |

We've been missing you, Coffee. Hopefully we'll see you around here more.
Family Matters If Jaleel White hadn't have stepped in, this wouldn't have gone as far as it did, and I'm really thankful it did. We never would've seen Steve Urkel's pursuit of Laura's heart, his ever-growing feud with her daddy, or the little misadventures of the fun-loving grandma Estelle if it weren't for Jaleel's involvement. There were some great supporting characters, but Urkel was basically the hero. "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

I'm still a fan of the old 60's sitcom, "Green Acres".
I find myself laughing and scratching my head at the same time, lol. |
