What are some of your favorite films?

At least the top 5, or top 10 if you are feeling ambitious!

Great picks guys!

@thecrow does A Christmas Story edge out Christmas Vacation?

@Vaporman, I like all of the movies you mentioned. Many people say that Spider-Man 2 is the best, but I prefer the first one as you said.

@echinda: I would say so.

Another favorite of mine is The Godfather. Some people might find it boring, but they have to watch it more than once. Then their outlook will change.

My top 5 are-

1. Shaun of the Dead
2. Star Wars (original trilogy)
3. Donnie Darko
4. Starship Troopers
5. Jurassic Park

It's tough putting a list together because there are movies that I find to be perfect like Dr. Strangelove and then there are those that I can watch all day long like Wayne's World. I guess a favorites list lies somewhere in between.

Raging Bull

I'm a sucker for sports films and this is indeed a masterpiece. Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Martin Scorsese are a perfect film-making combination.
