Well what about all of the 90s? The clues only rule out those years and don't really point to any single year.

Hmm, maybe! I was thinking  that the quote by Mego would mean that the year is between the beginning and end of the corporation. 

I believe it only rules out (no-no) 1983, when they filed for bankruptcy (uh oh)

basically by the clues it is between 1977-1999 and it's not 1977  1982 1983  is all we have

Oh okay I get it now!

I bet it's among the later years, if we are to "stay far, far clear" of pre-1977. Unless I'm reading too much into that and the clue just needed some extra syllables.

Based on the new clue, it must be before 1995 when OJ was acquitted
