Nah, it's not Tales From the Crypt. This was based on folktales and fairy tales from Europe. There was a graphic novel published in 2011 by a bunch of different artists who were fans of this show.
I'm not too picky about if you can name the episode. I just used that one because it's my favorite, it has an actor that I could tie to a once highest-grossing box office film, and the amount of puppets on the screen would take a skilled puppet master to operate. Here's the host. |

John Hurt is the host. He was recently a form of Doctor Who and was Kane in Alien where the alien burst from his chest. Bob Peck is the actor who played Robert Muldoon in Jurassic Park, he was in the episode: The Soldier and Death. |
