Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts has died.

Today is a very sad for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid fandom. I found out that sometime recently FunBrain pulled the plug on the original online version that kickstarted the entire franchise.

What a shame. There was a lot of golden content from that edition that we never got to see in the later books. It had become hard to read after FunBrain made several layout changes to their website, but it was still a classic. I was a huge fan of the original series when it debuted online. I remember eagerly counting down to the last entry that officially ended it. I always thought the kids that got into it through the published books were all posers.

I am currently converting my old Masked Rider VHS tape. Back in the 90's my mother recorded a whole bunch of episodes when it was airing in syndication on The WB. There are a whole bunch of great commercials and other things on it. I'll think I'll upload it to YouTube when I am done.

I haven't watched it since before I joined Retro-Daze.

That will be cool. Getting to see some old recordings from years ago.

looks like the summer temperatures will be lingering here for a while longer, going up to the mid 80s between the weekend and next week. virginia seems to be one of those areas where we could either have a warm halloween night for the year or a cold one, i've actually seen some kids wearing a jacket over their costumes before

It has been really cool in my part of PA the last few days. The remains of Ida slammed my area all day Wednesday and it has been really cold since.

I don't expect it to stay this way for long, but I'm looking forward to a little bit of cold weather. This summer was very humid. We had like a two week stretch where it rained every single day.
