so i watched the ren and stimpy documentary, and here's how it went:

from what i'd heard this was made BEFORE the allegations towards john k., and in this movie there's a heavy focus on john but it got very inconsistent after that news broke out as they tried squeezing that information it in there. this could have been more watchable if it focused more on the staff that worked with him but instead a majority of the two hours into it you just hear about john k's genius as an animator.

Most of the film goes on about only the first two seasons of the show, then skipping ahead to john's relationship to one of his young female animator friends, robyn, and this is where the film takes a creepy turn without warning, talking about john's predator behavior and in the final part of it there's a back and forth of john and robyn telling their own sides of the story. thankfully i just watched this documentary as a rental, given how disjointed the documentary felt at times. you do get to see some cameos in there (jack black and bobby lee from mad tv appear in it) but it's not enough to make it a worthwhile watch.

Wow, Bobby Lee and Jack Black get cameos? Get Bobby started and you got at least one hour of good stories to run with.  There's always Ren & Stimpy's,"The Best Of", Series available on Amazon.

Good or bad, I still plan to watch the documentary anyway.

i dunno about you guys, but here it's been raining like every other day. my stepdad was thinking about cancelling his lawn service too, as one of his customers may have potentially had the virus.

Sorry to hear it, Benjanime. Not as much rain here, but we've had a few good storms. I was just out for a walk abnd heard thunder in the distance. Hot and humid today, so it might result in some rain.

August is usually the time when NFL teams play preseason games, but there hasn't been one. Is the NFL still happening this year?

They claim it is, but unless they are going to do it like the MLB has, I doubt it. Macy's Parade is gonna be different this year too.

So I treated myself. Got myself the Lightning Collection Dragon Dagger. While it doesn't look like the Legacy dagger (Which is really nice to display) it's a heckin lot cheaper than the Legacy dagger. I'm still looking for the Legacy Collection automorph figures for Blue and Pink.
