I bid on a dreamcast on ebay  for a pretty decent price and for a while I was the top bidder. Then I noticed the shipping was absurdly high and it would end up being a lot more than I was comfortable with paying. I was feeling pretty crummy until somebody outbid me at the last minute. Dodged a bullet there.

Yeah, some sellers are pretty sneaky with the shipping charges.

Totally, some of them put a low price on the product to lure you in, and then charge the real price on the shipping vail. I have learned that the hard way :x

I try to charge reasonable shipping for what I sell or add free shipping but charge more for the price.

I'm guessing he's completely uneducated and thought it would be really hardcore. I can't say I'm entirely displeased when very stupid, very bad people have their comeuppance like that.
