Well, as we approach the opening of our new business, I figured it would be a good time for a life update from Vaporman87.

Things have been so crazy this past year, with the remodeling of our house, the work involved in learning the ins and outs of, and opening, a new business venture, and all that comes with life as a husband and father of four kids. There have been ups and downs, good and bad, but finally we are at a point where our home is nearing completion, and our new business is preparing for opening.

With all this, I've lacked the time I had before to devote to things like contests, Goodie Packs, and adding new features to the site. That has disappointed me. But thankfully, when the new business is up and running and we have employees taking care of things instead of just us, that should change. I'm looking forward to having time once again to spend making this place better and fun.

I thank all of you for your patience and understanding when it comes to this situation. You are the best members a place like this could ask for.

I will upload some before/after photos of the work that has been done on the froyo shop once everything is complete. There has been so much more that has gone into making it happen than just the actual labor of constructing things. Legal matters, tax matters, financial matters, and so much more. I never dreamed there would be so much involved in starting something as simple as a frozen yogurt shop. Then again, we did things a little differently than most shops, dealing with things that really very few businesses have to handle. And it's pretty much been me doing and coordinating it all from start to finish. But in the end, I think it will pay off. Either that or this has been one giant, expensive mistake.
