Reading that makes me realise I miss Home Ec class and shop class. lol I took both in middle school, it was interesting... of course my friends and I used shop class as an excuse to sit around and chat while working on weird wooden objects (we dont even know what we were making XD)

Crap! Somebody has already stolen my idea for a room escape game! 

Decided to take part in this year's Camp NaNoWriMo. Gives me an opportunity to work on my fanfic that I had started for last November's actual NaNoWriMo. Of course, I'd be writing more if I wasn't so easily distracted.

It's a project based on the actual NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writer's Month), where in April, you join the Camp NaNo site, they pair you with a bunch of other writers, and  you use the whole month to work on a story that is new, or an existing one. The Camp aspect is meant to be where you can help others with their stuff, and give & get encouragement. Pretty much it's there to promote creativity, because even though you can win the whole event, it's not the main goal.

The explosion of Escape Room games has even arrived here locally (in Athens, Ohio - a college town). Crazy!

Just a website. Would be pretty cool if it were an actual camp though!

Parents tell their kids they can be anything they want in life, but I don't think being like Rocky Balboa is what they had in mind.
