One of the previous ones Dragon Spirit was one I owned and played frequently. My son and I played it just the other day on an emulator. It was harder than I remembered.

The best Aliens movie franchise knock-off since Contra! My favorite boss was the donut one that shot his eyeballs at you while killer wavy bacon floated across the screen. This is the Tengen NES version I had.

Tengen was great for knock offs. Many argue their version of Tetris was superior to the original.
