Ask anyone what their favorite movie is and 3 out of 4 times it will be a movie that wasn't really over the top. However, this Godzilla reboot is all about stopping MUTO. Godzilla feels demoted to only second fiddle with little screen time and as a solution to MUTO. <br><br>The final fight scene is cheer envoking but the movie never elevates beyond "disaster porn." Whether a CGI building falls overs or a CGI building gets hit by a CGI tsunami, it all feels the same and there's neither remorse nor consideration for all the people swept under. <br><br><br> </i><b>-end quote</b></blockquote><br>What they did leading up to it is what killed it for me and I walked out. Even if the final fight was awesome. What I had to sit through would not make up for it.
