872	Article	MissM	Vaporman- I know! It was very nice to finally finish the second one. I've enjoyed action adventure games for sure, but there is just something special about an RPG for me. I don't even know why, because on paper they sound like very boring games, but I can't get enough of them. lol I never played the Phantasy Star Online games, but I heard it was a good game. I have the Phantasy Star Zero game on the DS, but I haven't played it yet. I'm always behind on that too. lol One thing I do enjoy and love about RPGs is the music. 871	Article	Mason	That Cartoon All-Stars special was just weird. I agree that drugs mess you up, but do I really need Alf, Slimer, and the Muppet Babies to teach me about drugs? I love TMNT toys and the original comic books, but the cartoon did kinda stink. They really cut corners on the quality of the animation. I still watched it though, just because it was TMNT. My friends and I would always watch Captain Planet, not because it was good, but because it was just so bad! It was so easy to crack jokes about the show, and when they would summon the elements we would crack up, without fail, at "Heart". Every episode of Captain Planet is pure comedy gold and the fact that is was ment to be serious makes it that much more hilarious. I freaking hated Full House! My sisters were obsessed with it and watched it all the time. I still have all those infamous one-liners stuck in my head. How rude! Cut it out! Did somebody say...wood? I didn't know Saved By The Bell was so popular. It wasn't even animated, so I didn't bother to watch it.	Overrated shows from my childhood	Nov 25, 2013
870	Article	Mason	If I had to choose a favorite toy I would choose LEGO hands down! We had Space, Castle, Pirates, Town, and even some Wild West themed sets. Some of my favorite figures are ladies, because the figures were so often gender neutral. The first minifigure gal I ever owned was the Ice Planet female figure, very cool! 867	Article	Vaporman87	Wow. That's awesome that you were able to finally complete a game that you started many years ago. That does have to be a fun and special feeling. My brother was always the RPG player in the family. I preferred the action/adventure games with real time fighting and such, as opposed to anything turn based. And, I had a hard time getting into games that used so much text instead of actual dialogue. I really don't know why, since I grew up on games with NO dialogue at all (text based OR spoken), but I think after that first time I heard "B-17 bomber" come through a speaker on the Intellivision... I felt like I wanted to HEAR the characters speak from then on. Still, I occasionally enjoyed watching the games be played through. I had some difficulty with the fact that many of the characters of RPGs were little kids. I wanted my heroes to be giant warriors with massive axes, lol. But, I've grown to appreciate the genre as the years have progressed. Now, Phantasy Star... the only Phantasy Star game I have actually played was the Phantasy Star Online game for the Sega Dreamcast. I actually spent a good deal of time playing that one with my brother in online multiplayer. I don't know if any of the story from that game tied in to the mythos of the original Phantasy Star games, or if it was something like Final Fantasy where every game is a new story, but it was a fun romp. Yes, the Palisades figures were superior in sculpt and paint application, but these were the first RE figures widely released here in America. Funny stuff Miss M. :)	Toy Talk with Miss M- Episode 2! 863	Article	MissM	Vaporman- I believe there was only one Children's Palace by us, it moved twice before closing down completely. It's so sad, because it was truly a great place. I gave my parents a great deal of grief for sure! lol And yeah, the comedian/rapper guy was a bit much. lol SegaFanatic- Yeah, I think it was important for there to have been more options. I wish there were now, but I guess all the options have moved to the Internet. Glad you enjoyed this! Trash Man- Oh my goodness, thank you for this comment! I had no idea about the origins of Children's Palace. I feel like there was a Child World at one of the nearby malls when I was little, but I vaguely recall it.
