I was just thinking:
Should I stop at 1998, or should I continue?

I might stop at 1999. There doesn't seem to be any point at going up to 2000.

For '98... only one movie comes to mind...
I tried so hard to like this movie. I honestly did. But it just sucks so terribly. You love this signature.

Small Soldiers was a good one. It felt a lot like a Joe Dante movie. Put the Gremlins in in place of the toys, and you'll understand what I mean.

The "Best Picture" Academy Award winner for 1998 was a film called Shakespeare in Love. Anyone heard of it?

Jrs1991: Indeed he did.
Also, I hadn't realized that this was the year The Big Lebowski hit theaters. I can quote so many lines from that movie, it's crazy. But my favorite is when the cop is grilling the Dude and after he's finished, he says "I wasn't listening." Such a simple phrase, but so hilarious in the context of the scene.
