For Halloween 1998, the Seattle area was treated to multiple showings of "Bluebeard", the 1944 movie starring a very young John Carradine - courtesy of Public Broadcasting Station KBTC.

I haven't been the same since!

Here is the only full version of  "Claws for Alarm" I can find on YouTube. The Greek subtitles may be the reason.

The Year was 1999.

Watching Saturday morning cartoons was still enjoyable, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to change. It was an unsettling feeling that SatAM as I loved it would have to come to an end.

Starting bright and early at 7am, "Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century" was a favorite cartoon. Time revealed an eerie quality to Sherlock Holmes that seemed to give me a "Halloween vibe" each Saturday I watched.

Is it just me, or is there something odd about this cartoon?
