What it means to Rewind a movie
|
I started reading From Russia with Love a few days ago, and in the beginning Red Grant gets a ride in a ZIS Saloon. Now I didn't know what the the heck that was, but I found out within ~35 seconds of googling (it's a car made for Soviet officials from the 30s-50s btw), in addition to learning about the technical specs and even seeing a few pictures. Circa Pre-Internet, I'd have to go down to the library, search for books on eastern european cars using the (ugh) catalog until I found the one that had the information I wanted, only to find out it's been checked out, then wait weeks for it to be returned, by which point I wouldn't care anymore. So kids these days have an easier time than ever as far as accumulating obscure/pointless trivia is concerned. thecrow174 wrote : The joy of playing outside. -end quote What is this "out...side" you speak of? The women of New Vegas ask me a lot if there's a Mrs. New Vegas. Well, of course there is! You're her. And you're still just as perfect as the day we met.
