Mr Magic
Before this match took place, no one knew who Bill Goldberg was or what his background was. As far as WCW fans knew, he was a jobber. But he proved the fans wrong and the rest is history.

Goldberg's debut match.

Might have been posted already, but someone shot a video of their typical school day in 1990.

Wow. The "at school" part is extremely familiar to me, except with a lot less people of color. Actually, no people of color. We were as white as a school could possibly be.

I'd like people to take particular notice of the fact that no girl is wearing skin-tight everything. Even in the late 80's, early 90's, it was still not cool to leave nothing to the imagination.

Also, whoever is driving the car clearly did not come to a full and complete stop at stop signs on multiple occasions. Somewhere, in that town, a criminal goes unpunished.

Yeah, I noticed the truck at the beginning totally cut off the camera kid's car. Another confirmation that high school drivers have always been jerkoffs.

As for the girls, yeah. I found it really distracting in school. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy it but c'mon...I'm already flunking chemistry and Jenny Benson's daisy dukes aren't helping.

Sooo, am I the only guy that remembers "Catster"?

I originally saw them in 1986 and the tag was, "the first electronic pet".

Catster is one version of Petsters by Axlon. Now here's something I can't verify, I once read somewhere that the guy that started iRobot got his idea by taking the fur suit off of a Petster and playing around with the sensors and adding vacuum power.

Anyway, Catster was first followed by a dog and a cute T-rex. Still have some old ads up on YouTube:

@Edd: I don't recall the Petsters. This is new to me. Great info, man. I can see this being a precursor to a lot of the electronic pets on the market now.

I thought it was so cool the way Catster came boxed in it's own cardboard house.

It didn't take long for Axlon to introduce a smaller size lil' Petster as the technology allowed at the time.

You can plug the remote into your Petster's collar or unplug for autonomous operation. It really is clever the way Catster scans the room to avoid obstacles.
