This was the first rated R movie I saw in theaters (because Flubber was sold out lol) and easily one of my top 5 favorite movies- guilty pleasure or not!

I thought The Devil's Advocate with Al Pacino was scary.

When I first saw it, I was blown away. With John Woo-Hoo directing it, the action was gonna be good. But I hadn't seen his work before this, and when I was able to watch this movie, WOW. It wasn't his best work, but it's a good introduction to his balls-to-the-walls action film style.

I've seen a good deal of John Woo films, but not this one. You make it sound like it's worth a watch, though.

It was a good introduction for the little pre-teen me, but it is a pretty, as they call it, "Shoddy" film.

EDIT: Hard Boiled is one of the most intense action films ever, just don't watch the dub, ew.
