I wish it would rain where I live. Southern California in the summer during a drought brings out a lot of ticks. It reminds me of the drought of 1991.

Why should you have to suffer?

Yeah. I can't stand ticks. Wasps, Hornets, Horse Flies, and Yellow Jackets too.

Funny thing though... Carpenter Bees that hang around the house, though you have to watch that they don't drill their way into anything, chase off other insects. I've watched them chase off Wasps many times. I stopped batting them out of the air with a plastic bat after I realized this.

Anyone have plans for Memorial Day?
