I just watched the Ren & Stimpy Christmas special where something comes out of Stimpy's butt, it makes a sound, and it smells funny

My local Wally World is already setting up the Christmas stuff.

I'm deeply offended.

Michaels has a Christmas town display. You know they're in the spirit.

Hobby Lobby jumps on it early as heck.

I don't have anything against a lot of lead time on holidays, but I do hate when one encroaches on the other. Give them some space! Halloween should get September through October. We take a three week-ish breather for Thanksgiving, then throw the rest to Christmas. I do get that stores need time to change floor layouts and get product set up and all that, so maybe a week leeway.

As much as I love Christmas, I can't truly get into the spirit until T-day is over. Black Friday and all bets are off. Until then, the big guy should stay in the North Pole.

Yeah, I was just at Hobby Lobby today. Aisles and aisles of Christmas stuff!

They do it in the late summer too.

I echo all of these sentiments.

i'm actually kinda glad i don't live close to family anymore these days, i hate the whole secret santa thing because i would go in a panic on what i should get when i don't know enough of my relatives on what they like, then i feel guilty asking them for a hint. it's so dumb.
