My kids got the Anki Overdrive car racing track and cars for Christmas, and I have to say... this thing is spectacular. It takes the idea of slot cars to the Nth level.

The cars drive on a track of flat pieces, with no railing around any of it. The fact that they stay on the track (most of the time) and fly around it, switching lanes as needed, is just great. There is no controlling the cars, aside from speed, weapon use, and lane changing. But that is all that's needed to make this an awesome toy. I highly recommend this for adults and kids alike.

I should mention that you do your part using the Anki Overdrive app on your smart phone. In it, you can set up the races, customize your cars, and more.

I got mostly books and gift cards. I also got a new Eli Manning Jersey, but seeing how their season just ended yesterday with the Redskins win over the Eagles, I probably won't break it out again until football season nears.

It sure didn't take Walmart long to take down their Christmas decor. We were in there the day after Christmas and it was all down and gone.

What a jerk!

At least the owner was cool about it. I would be enraged if Frosty was mine.

You know your life is going nowhere if you pull stuff like this. Poor Frosty. How dare they do this to a happy, jolly soul!

Yeah, I bet that they think that they are really edgy and cool because of this.

But they DID make the news too, so... the problem is not only them.

But in the eyes of the general public, they're losers.
