It's been raining here a lot at night. I love falling asleep to rain; there's nothing cozier.

1st snow of the year. 

The bottom fell out of the temperature yesterday, and this morning it was 25 degrees. Brrrr!

I'm gonna warn you... I'm about to go off here.


It's that time of year again, when the hunters start crowding in the area. When you live in backwoods America, that's to be expected. But I'm just so tired of it.

Everyone is entitled to their own passions and pleasures, but I just find myself highly annoyed by anyone wearing camo/orange vests, camo hats, and talking about the one that got away. I will catch myself hearing one of their conversations and start giving them the MST3K treatment in my head... or just mumble "Derp, derp, DEER!" under my breath.

It's not fair to them... I'm sure their decent folks. I just find the whole hunting thing getting under my skin more and more. And not because I think deer are precious and should not be shot. They most certainly are NOT precious, and they love to destroy your vehicle at any given opportunity. No, it's not that.

It's just... everything about it. I'm tired of seeing it, hearing about it, reading about it... all of it.

Not sure why it's so hard to make a pumpkin shaped brownie that is actually pumpkin shaped (as in ROUND!).

Come on, Fall! Show me your colors!

I once enjoyed the occasional pumpkin product, now the sight, or worse the smell, makes me nauseous. Talk about too much of a good thing.

Oh come on now mass, you know there is no such thing as TOO MUCH PUMPKIN.
