As for me, I never subscribed to any gaming magazines, but I'd gotten an issue or two of most at one point or another.



Which one was it that used to come with the demo discs? I think I used to get a free issue or two of that somehow, through the mail. Like a trial issue. 

That was the PlayStation mag.

the only magazines i know that came with demo discs were official playstation magazine and the dreamcast magazine, there were also the playstation underground demo discs, which came with some exclusive developer interviews and game tips

I love Archive too, onipar. It beats buying old magazines online.

I had a ton of PlayStation Underground discs.

I remember playing a demo of a game called Sled Storm. It was awesome!

Hmm, I do have some Playstation Demo discs. That was probably it (though I didn't own a Playstation until PS3, so that'd be a little weird...  



Maybe it was a computer gaming magazine? I vaguely remember maybe getting like PC Gamer or something. But yeah, I only really got an issue here or there of random things.

i could vaguely recall in an advertisement from gamepro that they would have demo discs actually, it was one of their 1999 issues but i can't remember which one that featured the ad.

I used to read EGM, Nintendo Power, and Gamepro. I thought I was the coolest kid because I had a subscription to Nintendo Power. 

One issue of EGM and one issue of GameFan(?) has my art in it (in the reader submission areas). I'll have to find those and dig them out to figure out which issues those were.
