I'm watching the 2007 movie to see how good or how bad it is.

I think with the fact that this is taking a children's cartoon and updating for the same fans who are now adults, therefore requiring more grit and violence, it wouldn't be a problem.  On the other hand, this is a reboot of an old cartoon that was actually a toy commercial in disguise, and merchandise therefore plays a big role here as well.  And  different color masks makes merchandising easier...Which makes me think, what if Michael Bay made a MOTU movie?

I just finished watching the 2007 movie. It was fair, compared to the 1990 movie.

NO!!! He is not allowed NEAR a He-Man movie!!! Don't allow the destroyer of our childhood favorites near yet another property! 

But what if the Ninja Turtles movie is good?

I didn't see Transformers (old cartoons or new movies) so I don't know if he's done a good job on that.  The commercial for Age of Extinction looks pretty insane though.

If the Ninja Turtles movie is good, I'll eat a little crow. But I don't know if it will make up for some of what he did with the Transformers. Some parts were great... like bringing in Peter Cullen for voicing Prime, and Leonard Nimoy for Sentinel Prime, but some parts... namely Megan Fox, Rose Huntington, and Shia Lebouf, and killing off favorites, and those two little goofball Transformers, and... well, you get the picture. Eh, we'll see. I'll reserve judgment for after I've seen this movie.
