My father has a book like that for naugatuck. It has pictures of what the town looked like back in the day and pictures of the damage from the flood.

So I decided to Google map my home town of Fairport NY and wow a lot changed there. Would love to see inside pictures of my old elementary school to see how things changed inside it. I saw they built a new section for it. Apparently the library there is getting a refurb as well. I also recalled where my friend's homes as I looked on Google maps more.

ThatDudeintheHoodie wrote :Yeah much has changed at my old high school since I left. They did a complete refurb of the foyer and many of the classrooms. They put asphalt down in the parking areas. And they also built a brand new middle school next door (when I entered the 7th and 8th grade you were in the same building as the high school kids. We were all jammed together in one building). There's a place in my town called Radium Springs and this is the casino. Now it's gone.
![]() I remember when I was a kid in the 90s, my friend and I went swimming in the water. Fun times. ![]() "If you think a 401K is your mother-in-law's bra size, you might be a redneck."

Reminds me of the sad saga that was the Nanuet Mall. Such a beautiful place that was destroyed thanks to bad decision making and competition.
