This is unrelated to post titles and such, but how about adding a friends list in profiles?

Okay, so... here's how we'll break down the post count levels...

That way we can come up with an even 10 titles.

Okay, so... how about something like these then? All sticking with pop culture references. If you have any, to replace one or more of these, speak up.

0 - 49          Where's The Beef?
50 - 99        New Kid On The Block
100 - 299       Fresh Prince
300 - 499       More Than Meets The Eye
500 - 999       Just A Good Ole Boy
1000 - 1999     Playing With Power
2000 - 2999     Turtle Powered

0-1 Posts = Pauly Shore.

The rationale being everyone finds Pauly Shore slightly obnoxious. All spambots will be branded and new members will always want to make at least 2 posts to get rid of that title. Next thing you know they're posting in the alphabet thread along with the rest of us!

In all seriousness, I like those titles! But a few of them don't really work in terms of status. The general principle being each level of post count has a more prestigious title than the last. Where as Where's the beef and Just a good ole boy don't differentiate in terms of social hierarchy.

Ok, throwing some more around. Post count brackets aren't so important but these ideas fall into 4 categories:

Newbies (You just joined or maybe you didn't but rarely post)
-Rugrat
-8 Bit
-Mogwai

Probational (You post infrequently but on a regular infrequent basis, if that makes sense)
-Altered Beast

Regular (You post almost daily)

Master (You're instantly recognizable on the forums)
-Super Saiyan


For some reason I'm really drawing blanks but we need some more video game related titles too.

I'm not sure how they work but a reputation system would be cool, I see them on other forums like Bodybuilding.Com, "reps" are given by members but you're only allowed to give one rep per day. Or maybe a like feature for posts. This promotes quality posting and people will be like, "Oh, so and so just posted I want to see what they have to say."

It would be beyond incredible if someone on Retrodaze could reach 20,000 posts. No one on Retrojunk has done that.

I've belonged to a few forums that had "rep".
