OK, time for the old guy to tell all, I got 5 gift cards - 5 of 'em.

3 for Amazon and 2 for Starbucks.
Now is a perfect time for me to act on my Wish List.

My favorite Christmas Gift is spending time with family and friends, and endless holiday meals.

Happy Holidays Everybody!!!

How late did you stay up last night playing Nintendo?

And did it feel anything at all like getting your very first Nintendo?

I would echo the sentiments of vkimo here. It was mostly the hype. But it is fun to have access to all those great games in one tiny place. But man... that controller cord... what the heck were they thinking?

Nes Classic 30 games. I have a long enough hdmi extension that the controller length issue wasn't a problem as I wanted the console close enough to use the reset button anyways.

Atari Flashback 101 games haven't tried it yet. Disappointed it doesn't have Moon Patrol.

Books Stephen King, Neil Gaiman, the Far Side, and Spy vs Spy.

Records Halloween records, Haunted Mansion storybook see, hear, and read, etc.

Movies Red Dawn, Unstoppable, Civil War.

Board and card games Tsuro, Oregon Trail, and Mystery

It is pretty difficult to make it all the way to Oregon without dying.
I have been having fun with my boys and family playing it however a few rounds and I am done. My boys could play endlessly. It has most of the deaths you remember from the game like Cholera, Dysentery, Measles, Exposure to cold, Starvation, Bad Water, loss of animals, drowning, broken or stolen equipment, etc. I felt it could have had some Hostile natives as well. The funnest part has been coming up with old west sounding names and epitaphs when for when you die such as...

Eustice was bitten by a snake, one more breath he did not take.

Clem had dysentery, bad way to go, he did not make it because he couldn't stop the flow.

Bill never did learn to swim, in the end it was the end of him.

Henry unprepared for cold froze to death, shivering until his last breath.
