Disney just announced a bunch of upcoming films, a film about Tinker Bell starring Reese Witherspoon among them. Reese Witherspoon is one of my favorite movie stars, and Peter Pan is one of my favorite movies. This sounds like a winning combination, as far as I'm concerned.

Julia Roberts made a convincing Tink. Maybe Reese will too.

I haven't watched Reese Witherspoon in a film since Election. I know my daughter would love any film with Tinkerbell in it, so it's likely I'll end up seeing this when it comes out.

Vaporman87 wrote :Oh, lord. Election. That was one of the dumbest movies I've seen in my life. I think the last film I've seen of hers was Legally Blonde. Not really too many films she's in that really grabs my interest. Though, it will be interesting to see how she pulls off Tinkerbell. I can see her being the type of actress to play as Tink, but I do wonder what her performance will be like. Guess we'll have to wait and see. |
The movie that she did that made me as big of a fan of her as I am is Walk the Line. It was different from the romantic comedy films that she so frequently appeared in and is therefore one I'd definitely recommend to anyone who isn't normally a Reese Witherspoon fan. It might also be especially appreciated by people around here, depending on how big of a country music fan you might be, since Johnny Cash would qualify as a retro performer.

I first discovered who Reese Witherspoon was when I saw her in Fear. That was a breakout role for Mark Wahlberg.

What is the animated film like?
I hear it's underrated. "Magic can happen to you."

Vaporman87 wrote :Funny you should mention Fear. I just overheard a student discussing that movie in a class I was subbing for on Friday. Incidentally, it's among my favorite Reese Witherspoon movies. thecrow174 wrote :I've never seen the animated film, either. |
